Christian Education And The Great Commission
Christian schooling does the teaching of many children through many generations and Christian schooling raises disciples unto Jesus. When they are turned out of our schools they raise the foundation of a new generation (Isa 58:12 “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.”)
Authentic Christian Education
The late Dr. Roy W. Lowrie Jr., a longtime administrator and one of the founders of ACSI, often used two phrases when referring to Christian school educators. He called them “the gold in the bank” of the Christian school, and he noted that they “cast a long shadow.” The value of teachers has not diminished, and your influence is deep in the lives of students. Being a teacher is a serious calling!
